About

Heladeria Freddino is more than a quick cone stop in Los Realejos. Reviews describe it as a neighbourhood churroteria where the churros are made fresh, coffee is taken seriously, and the dessert choice runs from filled churros to generous ice-cream scoops.

The clearest order signals are churros with chocolate, caramel or dulce de leche, plus ice-cream flavours such as Kinder, Oreo, lemon tart and the house Freddino. Prices are generally seen as fair and service as kind. The only practical caveat is space: it can fill up when the weather is good, so a rainy afternoon may actually be the easier moment to find a table.

Commonly mentioned by visitors.

Fresh churros with chocolate, caramel or dulce de leche are the main reason to go.

Coffee is taken seriously, so it works for more than a sugar stop.

Ice-cream scoops are generous, with Kinder, Oreo, lemon tart and house Freddino flavours mentioned.

Tables can be harder to get when the weather is good.

Whether you are looking for a good cup of coffee, churros or delicious ice cream, this local churroteria is for you.

We ordered churros variation (2 chocolate, 2 caramel) and 2 americanos. Both types of churros tasted excellent, but we liked the chocolate best. The coffee tastes utterly fantastic.

Prices are low, service is great and the atmosphere as authentic as authentic can be.

I very highly recommend a visit ☕🥰

Supeeeerr fresh churros made right in the back of the cafe. 100% recommend this place for the churros, and the coffee was good too 😊

Both the elderly man and woman are very kind and friendly. I understand and speak some Spanish, so I tried my best ordering and the lady was patient and recommended these churros to me (churros with Nutella chocolate, with pistachios, with caramel inside the churro, and one regular with the powdered sugar).

Got there just before the post rain crowd of people. If it’s raining out, might be your best chance to get a table first :) they seem to get pretty crowded when the weather is nice.

Very laidback, cosy neighborhood type sweet place. The churros con dulche de leche (caramel, basically) are to die for! Very very good prices too.

One of the best ice creams you’ll ever try! Everytime we visit Tenerife with my boyfriend, we come here multiple times. The size of the scoops is big and the flavors are delicious, especially kinder, oreo, tarta de limon and their signature freddino 🍦

This is such a cute place! It caught my eye with all of the colors and lighting. I had a gofre (a Spanish sugary waffle) with strawberry jam and whipped cream. It was warm and delicious! My girls each got a scoop of ice cream and what's not to love? A bit on the expensive side but it's in the middle of a touristic area so it's to be expected. Almost €7 for two scoops of ice cream and the sweet waffle. Well worth checking out!
